Made for a couple of friends of mine. Oak wood. Used a combination of raster engraving and vector cut. The cut helps make the edges more defined (0.02mm red stroke in pdf) and was made at 50% power so it didn't cut all the way through.
Changing the color of the 0.02mm stroke didn't affect the power of the cut (first try) so that's why I used 50% power instead - worked perfectly.
Now I just need to sand down the burned discolouration above e.g. "R", sand the edges and probably use oil to finish them.
