I made this box as a gift for a friend who makes flower medicine.
The box itself is made with makercase.com
Just type in the dimension you want, and the website will make the files for you. I used 0.08 as the kerf, which I found out to be the tightest fit (read: http://valby.copenhagenfablab.dk/projects/angela/kerfs-tabs-and-holes-w-...).

2 Small Japanese Jewellery Boxes

Instructions:
Soak the outer shell in water before you bend it.
Put tape or clamps to hold the shape while drying.
Good tip is to put the plate insde for it to keep its shape while drying.

Glue it all together.

Karakuri Earring Box

Karakuri Earring Box.
A Japanese secret box that holds earrings. The Lock mechanism is a pendulum that locks with the inner case.

Instructions:
Soak the outer shell in water before you bend it.
Put tape or clamps to hold the shape while drying.

Material:
3mm & 4mm HDF

Extra Material:
1 small nail (to hold the pendulum)
1 small washer (Between the bottom and the pendulum)

Kerfs, Tabs and Holes w/ MakerCase

CaseMaker.com is a nice tool to make boxes with, but the settings has to be right.
I have been experimenting with CaseMaker, and how to find the perfect kurf for a 3 mm acrylic box.
This is my findings.

Multifunctional childrens furniture for Valby Library

This is a project I did on Fabcreation, in Fablab Copenhagen for Valby Library.
The library is in lack of seating space. and have horribly boring exhibition-shelves... so I figured I would combine those two into one fun, colourful and comfortable furniture.
